Introduction

The use of the Dragon Raja forums constitutes acceptance and agreement to our Forum Code of Conduct and Forum User Agreement. If you violate the Code of Conduct or User Agreement, we reserve the right to terminate all accounts belonging to you without prior notice. We prefer to advise users of inappropriate behavior, however, flagrant and repeated violations of our CoC will result in an immediate ban. Our failure to enforce this policy, for whatever reason, shall not be construed as a waiver of our right to do so at any time.

We created the Code of Conduct to provide a basic understanding of what's allowed and not allowed in our forums. The following are guidelines for the establishment and enforcement of our CoC:

  • Ensure a friendly atmosphere to the community of Dragon Raja

  • Comply with existing laws
  • Encourage responsible use of our forums and discourage activities which disrupt our community and reduce the value of our services to our visitors
  • Encourage the freedom of expression and exchange of information in a mature and responsible manner

  • Penetrating, or attempting to penetrate, security measures of Dragon Raja Global's software or hardware, or electronic communications systems
  • All intrusions will subject all your forum accounts to immediate termination, regardless of whether or not the intrusion results in the corruption, loss, or theft of data

Any user found mass-advertising their own site may be warned or banned.

Users signing-up as a website address will be banned.

3. Piracy, Cracks, Keys, and Key-Generators

"Piracy" is the illegal copying of software;
"Cracks" are programs that disable copy-protection technology;
a "Key" is a combination of numbers and letters that is required for software installation and sometimes used to validate users for online play; and "Key-Generators" are programs that generate valid Keys.

You may not encourage, discuss, link to, or post in support of activities involving pirated software, cracks, multiplayer trainers, hacking activities, keys, and key-generators. In addition, the following are grounds for moderator action on your post and/or account:

  • Seeking help to create cracks, trainers, and key-generators
  • Seeking missing files that are supplied with installation CD(s)
  • Admitting to possess pirated software, cracks, trainers, and key-generators
  • Admitting to distribute pirated software, cracks, trainers, keys, and key-generators
  • Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of our forum moderators.

4. Forgery or Impersonation

Attempting to impersonate any person, including staff, using forged headers, instant messenger names, similar usernames (i.e. "Yell", "Y311", "YE||") in an effort to deceive or mislead is prohibited.

5. Profanities

You may not use profanity or bypass the software-based censor. In addition to words included in the censor list, sexual remarks and slang may be considered profane when used in certain contexts.

User names including profanities WILL be banned!

A word about what is considered to be bypassing the software-based censor: Anything done to avoid the default *'s provided by the censor is considered to be a bypass of the censor. For example, if the word "Babylon" was in the censor (it is not), then all of the following are considered a bypass of the censor and thus in violation of the CoC:

  • B******
  • Babyl0n, B@byl0n
  • Bb lo
  • B A B Y L O N
  • Babylon
  • B@1>Y |_ () |\|
  • https://www.example.com/tothe/babylon.gif" (links to image containing the word "Babylon" used in a demeaning context)

Other variations of the above are also not allowed, doing so may result in a warning or ban from the Dragon Raja forums.

6. Harassment

We have no tolerance for personal attacks as determined by forum moderators, whether public or private, towards user or staff.

You may not use terms or audio/visual materials referring to ethnic/national origin, ideological/religious beliefs, gender, or sexual preference in a demeaning context. (This includes racism)

7. Porn/Sexually Offensive Materials

You may not post or link to pornography or sexually offensive materials.

8. Illegal Use

You may not use our forums for illegal purposes, or in support of illegal activities, as determined by the laws of the United States of America and the European Union. Such activities will guarantee a ban. We reserve the right to cooperate with legal authorities and/or injured third parties in the investigation of any suspected crime or civil wrongdoing.

9. Non-Disclosure Agreements

We will delete posts containing materials in breach of active Non-Disclosure Agreements. We reserve the right to cooperate with the companies in the investigation of any NDA breach

10. Privacy

You may not post any form of real life information of a user unless the user has first permitted it by express consent. Examples of real life information include name, address, IP addresses, and phone numbers.
You may not distribute any form of real life information, email address, private/email Messages, and Instant Messenger messages ("Chat logs") with intent to harass or in any demeaning manner as determined by a moderator, regardless of consent.

You may not disclose a user's unpublicized email address unless the user has first permitted it, either by actual consent or previously releasing said information.
You may not post any form of real life information if you are 13 or under.

11. Official Language

English is the official language of our forums because it is the common language between our moderators and users. Other languages may be spoken in the designated forum sections for those languages.

12. Email Addresses

You may not harvest email addresses from our forums for any purpose
You are required to keep your forum account's email address up-to-date.

13. Moderation and Bans

You may not evade a ban (such as smurfing). Doing so will drastically lengthen your ban. If you have a problem with the banning or feel it was inappropriate, please send in a ticket at the support desk.

You may not publicly complain about or demand a reason for another user's ban, the deletion of a message, or the deletion/closure of a thread. Any discussion about warnings, bans, message deletion, thread deletion and thread closure should be done over personal message or email between the person concerned and the moderators.

You may not re-edit a message that has been edited by a moderator.

14. Miscellaneous

Do not post negative posts and discussions that are repeated over and over and over with no other purpose than to disrupt conversation. If you feel the need to say something, say it once and then move on. Do not disrupt multiple threads in order to get your view out.

You may not bait/troll users. Bait / Trolling is defined as posting with a clear intent to provoke anger, incendiary posts, and behavior that results in other users violating the CoC.

You may not bait, insult, flame, or otherwise abuse a staff member
You may not abuse your ability to post in HTML in HTML-enabled forums
You may not post graphically-disturbing images as inline images (such that the images are displayed when users view your post). However, you can link to the images with a warning stating that the images are graphically disturbing.

You may not post in a manner that is harmful to the Dragon Raja Forums. For example, "Dragon Raja Global is bad!!! Go here!" or posting confidential Dragon Raja documents. If you do, the post will be deleted and you will be banned from the forum. This includes talking about other (non-licensed) servers for the game.

You may not register multiple accounts with intent to violate any part of this CoC.

15. Signature

Each signature cannot have pictures that have a total height of more than 250 pixels. This is for 2 reasons. The main reason is to reduce eye strain and 2nd to have some control on total signature size.

There can still be text added though there is no clear cut rule on how big the total text can be. Ridiculously big signatures will not be allowed. Our moderation of signatures is purely based on what we define is past the limit of a reasonable total signature size. To make our decisions and actions more reasonable and logical, we will make our decisions about such matter based on what other forums, a part from our own, has allowed. Which by the way, many of them are much more lenient on this matter.

Questionable Actions and Content

Contrary to popular beliefs, the CoC isn't designed to cover everything. We reserve the right to act if a user's actions, including the user's posts, are deemed counterproductive to the forum community. The CoC is also prone to error. If you find any error in the CoC, please contact the adminisrator.

1. Introduction

You have obtained a license to the Software and your rights are subject to this License. Except as expressly licensed to you herein.

Players are responsible to read and understand the rules. Players are also responsible to periodically check if there are any changes to the rules. All decisions made by the GM team will be under the assumption that players have read and understood the rules.

The rules we have written are to ensure a pleasant gaming experience for all players. As such, it is up to each individual player to read the rules and follow the rules accordingly. Any player found to violate the rules listed here will be punished accordingly. Any ambiguity in the rules shall be construed strictly to ensure a pleasant gaming experience.

2. Hacks

The use of hacks is strictly prohibited. Hacking is defined as, "the use of a third-party program that allows actions not allowed under normal gaming circumstances which allows the player to gain an advantage over other players." Any player caught using any hacks for the purpose of gaining an unfair advantage over players will be permanently banned.

3. Modifying Game Files

Modifying game files in any shape or form is strictly prohibited. Punishment for game file modification will be a ban based on benefits to user and if any victims are involved. However, modifying UI files (files ending with .ui) in order to make a Custom UI is allowed.

4. Auto Clickers

The use of auto clickers is allowed.

5. Scams

Purposely scamming other players will not be tolerated. Players must report any scams within three days for the GM team to investigate. If reported later, the GM team will not open an investigation.

In order for a reported incident to be considered a scam, ALL of the following conditions must be met;

  • A minimum of two parties;
  • an exchange between the parties (physical or intellectual);
  • a false promise by one or more parties.
  • The exchange must happen at the same time. In example, an exchange involving one party to pay the other party at a different time of the exchange will be excluded from this ruling

The following acts will NOT be considered a scam;

  • Borrowing item(s) (Viewed by case by case basis)
  • giving item(s) to a player for free (e.g. someone claiming to be your friend);
  • giving item(s) in exchange for non in-game items (Real Money Trade, account info, etc).

When an incident has been determined to be a scam, all items will be returned to the victim. The scammer will be punished. The severity and length of punishment shall be determined according to the act. All decisions are final.

Also, any attempt of scamming account through tickets will make the player banned permanently from the Support Desk and the Forums. An ingame ban may also be considered.

Players are encouraged to report any bugs they find. Any player found knowingly abusing bugs for the purpose of gaining an unfair advantage over players will be punished. The bug in question will determine the severity and length of punishment.

6. Bugs

Players are encouraged to report any bugs they find. Any player found knowingly abusing bugs for the purpose of gaining an unfair advantage over players will be punished. The bug in question will determine the severity and length of punishment.

6.1. Punishment for Bug Abuse

  • Low priority bug: One day ban and removal of all benefits accrued from the exploitation of the bug.
  • Medium priority bug: Three days ban and removal of all benefits accrued from the exploitation of the bug.
  • High priority bug: Seven days ban and removal of all benefits accrued from the exploitation of the bug.

Bug priority will be determined by the level of impact it has to the character in question, the impact it has on other characters, and on the game as a whole. Bug priority will only be determined by the GM team. Doubts cast upon the GM team's decision on bug priority will be considered, but decision s on bug priority will be left to the GM team and the GM team only.

6.2. Exceptions

Bugs, such as "ice death" or double extreme fire/ice are allowed to be used. While strictly not part of the game design, they have been accepted widely by the community to be beneficial and even needed. Further, deletion of Pcloud is another allowable bug exception. Future determinations of bug exceptions will only be made by the GM team. The community may give their input and all inputs will be considered.

7. Harassment

Harassment will be defined as, "any intentional action(s) to ruin another player's gaming experience." To prevent abuse, both IP and character will be considered. This means you cannot simply switch characters to continue your harassment. Furthermore, the harassment rules can be changed at leisure to fit the situation at hand as such; please do not conduct any obvious act of harassment thinking you have found a loophole. The following circumstances will be, but not limited to, considered harassment;

7.1. Harassment via Leveling

Harassment via leveling will be restricted to one victim, one harasser. If there are more than one harasser to one victim, the victim must submit separate reports for each harasser. If a harasser has more than one victims, each victim must submit a separate report. Harassment reports MUST be sent in on the day of harassment. Any reports afterward will not be accepted.

Conditions:

  • The harassment MUST take place at a leveling ground and the victim must be engaged in leveling activities.
  • The victim must submit a screenshot explicitly saying they give up, will not fight back, and will leave the pit. The victim then must leave the specific leveling ground.

If the conditions above are met twice within one hour, then it will be considered as harassment. The conditions are to ensure harassment is indeed taking place, instead of being a fight over leveling spots.

Loopholes

  • Harassers cannot simply change characters to continue the harassment. If there is sufficient evidence pointing towards the same harasser on different characters, the above rules will apply.
  • Harassers cannot simply kill everyone else in the victim's party and leave him alone to avoid harassment rules. Killing the victim's entire party will be treated the same as killing the victim. This loophole is not limited to killing the entire party. If the GM team receives enough evidence that even killing one player on the victim's party substantially interferes with the victim's leveling, then that will be considered to meet the conditions set above.
  • The GM team reserves the right to determine what constitutes a loophole and what doesn't. Just because a certain action is not listed under this section as a loophole, does not mean the GM team cannot determine that specific action to be a loophole.

Disclaimer: Please do not use the harassment rules as a tool to exact revenge on other players. If the GM team reasonably believes we are being used as a political tool, we will not entertain any more reports from such player. Any ambiguity will be determined by the GM team to ensure harassment is not taking place and the GM team is not being used as a political tool.

7.1.1. Punishment for Violators

  • First offense: Warning
  • Second offense: Three day ban
  • Third offense: Seven day ban
  • Fourth offense: Permanent ban

Offenses are independent of the number of players, limited to the day. That means a player may only receive one offense per day. For example, if player A is harassing five players in a single day and all five players report that harasser, then the harasser will only receive one warning.

7.2. Harassment via Communications

Report format: In order to report harassment via communications, valid proof must be given. The following are minimum requirements for such reports:

  • Spam chat box: A screenshot of the spam must be taken. To be considered spam, the chat box must contain mass irrelevant messages (same messages over and over again, and/or nonsense). However, one occasion will not count as spam. There must be a minimum of 3 different occasions (Within at least seven days of each other) for it to count as spam AND you must clearly tell the spammer that you wish for him/her to stop.
  • Spam mailbox: A screenshot of the mailbox must be taken. To be considered spam, the mailbox must have a minimum of 10 mails over a period of 7 days from the same recipient. Each mail must also contain spam. In addition, a request for the spammer to stop must be given.

7.2.1. Punishment for Violators

  • First offense: Warning
  • Second offense: Three day ban
  • Third offense: Seven day ban
  • Fourth offense: Permanent ban

Each individual report will be treated as one offense. For example, if player A is found to be harassing three players, player A will receive a third offense, which will be a total of ten days ban.

8. AFK Leveling

AFK leveling is strictly prohibited. AFK leveling will be defined as leveling a character (both level and tactic level; with the exception of tactic training poles) without physically being at the computer. The AFK time period for being physically absent will be five minutes.

Of course, leeching other players while you are AFK is not allowed and will be subject to these punishments.

Logging out when questioned by another player, RC, or GM will be an admission of guilt and will be punished accordingly. We have the proper investigative tools to determine whether or not the person in question disconnected or had someone log him or her off. The person helping the questioned character log off will be counted as lying for the AFKer.

Since it is inefficient for GMs and RCs to wait 5 minutes for each AFK, the time will be decreased to 15 seconds before the punishment. However, if you mail the GM or RC who gave you the punishment within 5 minutes of the punishment, it will be dissolved.

Also, do know that farming job materials (such as butcher skins) while being AFK is also not allowed.

Any ambiguity in this rule will be construed to uphold the principle of this section.

8.1. Reporting Requirements for Players

For a player to report an AFK leveler they must:

  • 1. Take a minimum of three screenshots. One of the screenshot must show you initially asking the question if he is present and another that must use "/normal note" as well the time showing that it has been 5 minutes since you initially asked the question. All other screenshots must show that "/normal note" was used and a question asking if the player is present.
  • 2. OR, a video can be taken. The video must be 5 minutes in length; in addition, the player in question must be asked if they are present at least once per minute.

Further, you are OBLIGED to answer any questions asked by players questioning your physical presence. Ignoring will not be accepted as an excuse. Any player constantly asking you the same question, even though you have proven to be present will be subject under the harassment rule.

If you falsely report a player for AFK leveling, but they have not been AFK leveling (Editing screenshots, etc.), you will be punished instead. If the physical presence of another player is asked and you lied and said it was you, you will be punished as well.

8.2. Punishments for Violators

  • First offense: Warning.
  • Second offense: Seven days ban.
  • Third offense and more : Each time another offense is registered, the length of the previous ban is doubled and applied.
  • False report: Three days ban
  • Lying for AFKer: Three days ban

9. Loss of Items

DRG is not responsible for any loss of items incurred. The only exception is when an item(s) has been lost due to a bug.

10. Account Sharing

DRG does not sanction nor prohibit account sharing. However, each owner is responsible for any loss incurred as a result of account sharing. DRG is not responsible for any losses incurred due to account sharing, which includes, but not limited to, items, characters, and account status.

11. Rule Updates

When rules are updated, the new rules will apply to cases from that day onwards. Rules will not be applied in retrospect unless specifically stated.

12. Appeals Process

After a ban or warning has been issued, the player has one chance to appeal that decision. After the GM team deliberates on that appeal, any decision that stems from it will be FINAL.

Until the support desk is operational, players submitting their appeal must send a PM to the entire GM team. The option to send a PM to the entire team will be on the left side of your screen when you are drafting your PM. Any appeals that are not sent to the entire team will not be accepted.

When a decision is final, the case will be closed and any inquiries will be ignored. Players may discuss the issue as long as they stay within forum rules, but GMs will not take a part of that discussion.

13. Termination of Dragon Raja Global Services (Henceforth Known as DRG) and Accounts

DRG may also terminate your Account(s) (and access to all related properties) for violation of this Terms of Service, illegal or improper use of your Account, or illegal or improper use of DRG services. You may lose your in-game personas as a result of Account termination. If you have more than one Account, we may terminate all of your Accounts and all related properties. DRG may issue you a warning, or may immediately terminate any and all Accounts that you have established. You acknowledge that DRG is not required to provide you notice before terminating your Account(s). If DRG terminates your Account, you may not participate in a DRG Service again without DRG's express permission. Contact Support to solve any issues in a timely fashion. DRG reserves the right to refuse to keep Accounts for, and provide DRG services to, any individual. You may not allow individuals whose Accounts have been terminated by DRG to use your Account.

14. Consent to Use of Data

Logging on to DRG means you consent to DRG collecting, transmitting, and storing non-personally identifiable data including your Internet Protocol Address, Media Access Control address as well as game play and software usage statistics. DRG may use this information to improve our products and services.
